Abstract
COMPOSIçãO DE REVESTIMENTO DE POLìMERO DE EMULSãO DE BAIXO TEOR DE VOC. A presente invenção refere-se a uma composição de revestimento de látex aquosa e método de preparar uma composição de revestimento de látex aquosa que compreende pelo menos um derivado de etileno glicol oligomérico tendo as estrutura de RO-(CH~ 2~-CH~ 2~-O-)~ n~-H, pelo menos um polímero de látex, e água, onde R é H ou C~ 1~-C~ 4~ alquila e n é de 3 a 9, preferivelmente de 3 a 8, e mais preferivelmente de 3 a 6. O derivado de etileno glicol oligomérico funciona tanto como um solvente coalescente quanto estabilizante de congelamento-descongelamento sem contribuir para o teor de VOC da composição.
