Abstract
SISTEMA DE SELEçãO DE CARACTERìSTICA DE ILUMINAçãO PARA FORMAçãO DE IMAGEM DURANTE UM PROCEDIMENTO OFTáLMICO A LASER E MéTODOS ASSOCIADOS. Um sistema para a otimização dos efeitos de fontes de luz na visualização e no processamento de imagem, e para a formação de imagem de um objeto iluminado tira vantagem do fato de que a luz refletida de forma especular tem propriedades de polarização particulares, se comparado com a luz difundida de forma difusa. O sistema inclui uma fonte de luz polarizada para iluminação de um objeto com um feixe polarizado e uma fonte de luz não polarizada para o envio de luz não polarizada para iluminação do objeto com um feixe não polarizado. Um detector é posicionado para receber a luz dos feixes refletidos a partir do objeto. Um polarizador é orientado para filtrar substancialmente a reflexão especular do objeto e para permitir que pelo menos uma porção de reflexão difusa do objeto passe através dele. As fontes de luz polarizada e não polarizada e o polarizador são controláveis para a iluminação seletiva do objeto e para a detecção da luz tendo uma característica de polarização selecionada com uma função de uma porção de um procedimento sendo realizado.
