Abstract
SISTEMA óTICO DE DETECçãO DE GOTEJAMENTO. A invenção provê um sistema ático de detecção de gotejamento (10) para um dispositivo de medição de baixas vazões do tipo que possui um gerador de gotas 12, 24 (19), o mencionado sistema compreendendo pelo menos um transmissor ático (26) que produz uma pluralidade de pulsos de luz (28) de microssegundos de duração e em intervalos de milissegundos, e pelo menos um receptor ático (32) posicionado para registrar o recebimento dos mencionados pulsos de luz (28) transmitidos através do caminho das gotas (18) geradas pelo mencionado gerador de gotas (12, 24, 19), e para registrar o número de pulsos que colidem com uma dada gota e que não registrado no mencionado receptor (32) , a freqúência e intensidade dos mencionados pulsos sendo calibrada de forma que uma simples gota seja atingida por uma pluralidade de pulsos, e compreendendo ainda meios de realimentação automáticos para ajustar os parâmetros de interação entre o mencionado pelo menos um transmissor ótico (26) e o mencionado pelo menos um receptor ótico (32) para produzir e manter um pré-determinado mínimo e um pré-determinado máximo número de colisões por gota.
