Abstract
MATRIZES SUPLEMENTADAS PARA O REPARO DE FRATURAS óSSEAS. A presente invenção refere-se a matrizes suplementadas compreendendo um PTH incorporado de maneira liberável aqui, opcionalmente contendo um material granular. O PTH é incorporado ou através de ligação covalente à matriz ou através de interação não-covalente com a matriz e/ou os grânulos. Essas matrizes suplementadas diminuem o tempo de cura em comparação com auto-enxerto ou disparam a cura de fraturas ósseas as quais, de outra forma, poderiam não se curar. As matrizes são biocompativeis e biodegradáveis e podem ser formadas in vitro ou in vivo, no momento da implantação. O PTH pode ser uma parte de um peptídeo de fusão. PTH pode ser incorporado nas matrizes com retenção completa de sua bioatividade. PTH pode ser incorporado de maneira liberável, usando técnicas que fornecem o controle sobre como e quando e em que grau o PTH é liberado usando a matriz como um veículo de liberação controlado para curar fraturas ósseas.
