Abstract
MéTODO E APARELHO PARA A PROVISãO DE POTêNCIA INDUTIVA HARMÈNICA. A presente invenção refere-se a um método e um aparelho para a provisão de uma potência indutiva harmónica e, mais particularmente, para o envio de pulsos de corrente provendo uma quantidade desejada de energia de pulso em harmónicos de alta freqúência para um circuito de carga para aquecimento indutivo de um artigo. Pelo controle do formato e/ou da freqúência desses pulsos de corrente, o aparelho e o método podem ser usados para melhoria da taxa, da intensidade e/ou da potência de aquecimento indutivo enviado pela bobina de aquecedor e/ou para melhoria do tempo de vida ou redução do custo e da complexidade de um suprimento de potência de aquecimento indutivo. De significância em particular, o aparelho e o método podem ser usados para se aumentar significativamente a potência enviada de forma indutiva para uma carga ferromagnética ou outra aquecida de forma indutiva, sem requerer um aumento de corrente na bobina de aquecedor. Isto permite novas aplicações de aquecimento e, em algumas modalidades, diminui o consumo de energia ou as exigências de resfriamento e/ou aumenta o tempo de vida da bobina de aquecedor.
