Abstract

MARCADORES DE DNA PARA CRESCIMENTO DE GADO. A presente invenção fornece métodos para identificar um polimorfismo genético associado ao peso de desmama aumentado na prole de uma fêmea do gado de corte compreendendo o polimorfismo. Os métodos de seleção assistidos por marcadores genéticos fornecidos pela invenção permitem a anulação de testes custosos e potencialmente fenotípicos e inexatidões associadas aos esquemas de procriação tradicionais e melhora dos rebanhos do gado de corte.
