Abstract

GENE E PROTEINA DE PERCEPçãO DE AçúCAR REGULADOS POR NITROGéNIO E MODULAçãO DOS MESMOS. A presente invenção refere-se a um gene de fator de transcrição GATA regulado por nitrogênio requerido para percepção de açúcar e à modulação da expressão deste gene para modular uma característica em uma planta. O fator de transcrição GATA da presente invenção está envolvido em regulagem de percepção de açúcar em plantas e sua expressão é influenciada pelo estado de nitrogênio. Expressão aumentada deste ou genes substancialmente similares pode produzir plantas com utilização de nitrogênio aperfeiçoada e rendimento aumentado.
