Abstract
COMPONENTE DE FORMAçãO DE FIOS CONTìNUOS E MéTODO DE ARRANQUE DO MESMO. Um componente de formação de fios contínuos, para ligação de uma extrusora (1) a uma instalação de granulação, dispõe de vários canais de alimentação (8), que podem ser ligados, de forma a se registar um fluxo, à abertura de saída (5) da extrusora (1). Os referidos canais de alimentação conduzem a bombas rotativas de engrenagens (21) que se pautam por características de alimentação tão constantes quanto possível, e com as quais o fluxo de massa fundida aos canais (11) pode ser bloqueado durante o arranque. Um único canal (11) estabelece a ligação entre cada bomba rotativa de engrenagens (21) e uma fieira de extrusão (9>, podendo a fieira de extrusão ser formada pelos furos de uma placa perfurada (10) que está unida a uma cabeça de placa perfurada (7). Várias bombas rotativas de engrenagens (21) são acionadas por um veio (24) comum. A presente invenção diz igualmente respeito a um método de arranque de uma instalação de granulação equipado com um componente de formação de fios contínuos como aquela que é descrita acima. Trata-se de um método que se caracteriza pelo fato de a extrusora (1) ser acionada em primeiro lugar, até ser estabelecida uma pressão suficiente na entrada (27) de cada bomba rotativa de engrenagens (21), sendo que cada bomba rotativa de engrenagens (21) só é accionada depois de a referida pressão ter sido atingida. Numa instalação de granulação submersa em água, só então, o mais tardar, é que as lâminas de granulação (12) são colocadas em funcionamento, de modo a descreverem o seu movimento de rotação.
