Abstract
MéTODO PARA A SEGMENTAçãO APERFEIçOADA DE IMAGEM. A presente invenção refere-se a um algoritmo de segmentação de imagem aperfeiçoado que identifica cada objeto em uma imagem. Os pixels da imagem são classificados com base em uma faixa de valores de atributo da imagem. Estes pixeis são então acrescentados a uma imagem de rotulação, um a um, começando com um ponto extremo na faixa de valores de atributo. As características são calculadas para cada objeto localizado e estas características são associadas com os critérios de aceitação predefinidos. Se houver uma associação, o objeto será emitido em uma imagem de saída. As etapas de acrescentar pixels à imagem, de avaliar as características dos objetos resultantes e de emitir os objetos são repetidas até que um ponto de interrupção seja alcançado.
