Abstract

MéTODO E APARELHO PARA FACILITAR MODOS ALTERNATIVOS DE OPERAçãO PARA UM DISPOSITIVO DE COMUNICAçãO PORTáTIL. Um dispositivo de comunicações (300) habilitado para suportar uma funcionalidade de comunicações de voz externa (301) (ou outras comunicações externas de interesse e escolha) e uma outra funcionalidade (302) tem pelo menos um primeiro e um segundo modos de operação (304 e 305). O primeiro modo de operação permite essencialmente toda funcionalidade, enquanto o segundo modo de operação impossibilita pelo menos muito da outra funcionalidade, em favor de preservar a viabilidade de pelo menos parte da funcionalidade de comunicações externas. Um seletor (306) pode selecionar um dado modo de operaçao com base, pelo menos em parte, em um gatilho 307, que compreende, por exemplo, uma entrada de usuário e/ou a detecção de uma condição de preocupaçao.
