Abstract
COMPOSIçãO PARA REDUZIR INCRUSTAçãO DE ALUMINOSSILICATO EM UM PROCESSO INDUSTRIAL. Materiais e um método são fornecidos, por meio dos quais polímeros com pelo menos 0,5 % em moi do grupo pendente ou grupo final contendo - Si (OR")~ 3~ (onde R" é H, um grupo alquila, Na, K ou NH~ 4~) são usados para controlar incrustação de aluminossilicato em um processo industrial tendo uma corrente de processamento alcalina, tal como uma corrente de processamento de moinho de polpa. Quando materiais da presente invenção são adicionados a uma corrente de processamento alcalina, eles reduzem e mesmo impedem completamente a formação de incrustação de aluminossilicato em superficies de equipamento, tais como paredes de evaporador e superficies de aquecimento. Os presentes materiais são eficazes a concentrações de tratamentos que tornam-nos economicamente práticos.
