Abstract

COMPOSIçãO DE POLIETILENO MODIFICADA E ARTIGO DE FABRICAçãO. A presente invenção refere-se a uma composição compreendendo mais de 25% em peso (com base no peso da composição) de um ou mais polímeros de etileno tendo um M~ w~ de 20.000 glmol ou mais e no mínimo 0,1% em peso de um modificador de hidrocarboneto líquido em que o modificador tem: 1) um índice de viscosidade de 120 ou mais, e 2) uma viscosidade cinemática de 3 a 3000 cSt a 100°C, e 3) um ponto de derramamento de -10°C ou menos, e 4) um ponto de fulgor de 200°C ou mais; e em que o modificador contém menos de 5% em peso de grupos funcionais selecionados entre hidróxido, arilas, arilas substituidas, halogênios, alcóxis, carboxilatos, ésteres, acrilatos, oxigênio, nitrogênio, e carboxila, com base no peso do modificador.
