Abstract

UNIDADE CONSTRUTIVA DO AIRBAG. A presente invenção refere-se a uma unidade construtiva do airbag, para um sistema de retenção de passageiros em veículos automóveis, com um airbag recebido por uma caixa do airbag, o qual pode ser cheio com gás por meio do conteúdo de um gerador de gás, assim como com uma caixa do difusor, disposta na caixa do airbag, ligada com a caixa do airbag por meio de aberturas de passagem do gás, dentro da qual está fixado por um dispositivo de retenção o gerador de gás, introduzido através de uma abertura de montagem, sendo que o dispositivo de retenção está configurado por um anel de fixação (7), disposto no espaço intermediário (5), da parede da caixa do difusor (8) e da parede do gerador de gás (9), que veda de maneira impermeável aos gases o espaço intermediário (5), por meio de um dispositivo de vedação (6), e que circunda em forma de anel o gerador de gás (2), sendo que o anel de fixação (7), está fixado por fecho pela forma na parede da caixa do difusor (8).
