Abstract

SONDA ILUMINADORA INTERNA DE ALTA PRODUTIVIDADE. A presente invenção se refere a um sistema cirúrgico de iluminação e a um iluminador interno de alta produtividade. Uma modalidade do sistema cirúrgico iluminador interno de alta produtividade compreende: uma fonte de luz para proporcionar um feixe de luz; uma fibra ótica proximal, oticamente acoplada à fonte de luz para receber e transmitir o feixe de luz; uma fibra ótica distal, oticamente acoplada à extremidade distal da fibra ótica proximal, para receber o feixe de luz e emitir o feixe de luz para iluminar um campo cirúrgico; onde a fibra ótica distal compreende uma seção afunilada dotada de um diâmetro de extremidade proximal maior do que o diâmetro de extremidade distal; uma peça manual operacionalmente acoplada à fibra ótica distal; e uma cânula operacionalmente acoplada à peça manual, para alojar e direcionar a fibra ótica distal. O diâmetro da extremidade proximal da seção afunilada pode ser o mesmo que o diâmetro da fibra ótica proximal e, por exemplo, pode ser de um diâmetro de calibre 20. O diâmetro da extremidade distal da seção afunilada, por exemplo, pode ser de um diâmetro de calibre 25 compatível. A cânula pode ser uma cânula de diâmetro interno de calibre 25. A fibra ótica proximal pode de forma preferida apresentar uma NA igual ou maior do que a NA da fonte do feixe de luz e a fibra ótica distal de forma preferida pode ser dotada de uma NA superior ao da fibra ótica proximal e superior àquele da fonte do feixe de luz em qualquer ponto na fibra ótica distal (uma vez que o NA de feixe de luz pode aumentar na medida em que percorre através da seção afunilada).
