VEDAçãO. A presente invenção refere-se a uma vedação (4) para a vedação do interior do mancal (17) de um mancal (2), na qual um primeiro lábio de vedação (8) está dobrado em ângulo para fora, entre uma câmara piloto (10) de forma anular e o ambiente externo (11) da vedação (4), desde uma base (12) da vedação (4) até, pelo menos, um primeiro contato de vedação (14), e na qual um segundo lábio de vedação (9) está dobrado em ângulo para dentro, entre o interior do mancal (17) e a câmara piloto (10), desde a base (12), pelo menos, até um segundo contato de vedação (16), e em cuja vedação (4) o primeiro lábio de vedação (3) está provido de, pelo menos, uma abertura de ventilação (18) que leva de fora para dentro da câmara piloto (10).
