Abstract

SISTEMA E MéTODO PARA CRIAR UMA PICOCéLULA. SEM FIO. São providos um sistema e um método para criar um serviço de picocélula substituto para um serviço de rede sem fio. O método compreende: detectar uma rede de comunicação sem fio de acesso múltiplo (MA), tal como uma rede terrestre ou satelital, e gerar uma primeira picocélula em resposta à detecção da rede sem fio MA. Tipicamente, o método compreende receber solicitações para serviço de picocélula provenientes de estações móveis em resposta à geração da primeira picocélula. Em um aspecto, as solicitações de serviço feitas pelas estações móveis são negadas. Em outro aspecto, o método compreende adicionalmente: estabelecer um MSC da primeira picocélula e prover serviços de rede para estações móveis via a primeira picocélula em resposta às solicitações para serviço de picocélula. Como exemplo, o MSC da primeira picocélula pode prover os mesmos serviços de rede que são providos por uma rede terrestre convencional. Reciprocamente, o método estabelece uma rede sem fio alternativa (uma segunda picocélula) para prover serviços.
