Abstract
VáLVULA DE GAVETA CORREDIçA LINEAR PARA UM VASO METALúRGICO, MéTODO PARA OPERAR UMA VáLVULA DE GAVETA CORREDIçA E PLACA REFRATáRIA PARA UMA VáLVULA DE GAVETA CORREDIçA. A slide gate valve (10) for a metallurgical vessel comprises a slide plate (20) with a first port (30) and a fixed plate (22) with a second port (32). A sliding tray (26) supports the sliding plate (20) and is arranged to slide the sliding plate (20) relative to the fixed plate (22) to control an outflow from the metallurgical vessel by the relative position of the first and second ones. holes (30; 32). The sliding plate (20) is rotatable relative to said sliding tray (26). The slide gate valve further comprises a ratchet mechanism (40; 140) for providing defined angular positions of the slide plate (20). The ratchet mechanism (40; 140) is mounted on the sliding tray (26) such that the sliding tray (26) forms the fixed structure of the ratchet mechanism (40; 140).
