Abstract

PROCESSO PARA A OPERAçãO DE UM FORNO DE CUBA E FORNO DE CUBA APROPRIADO PARA ESSE PROCESSO. Processo para a operação de um forno de cuba, no qual uma região superior do forno de cuba é alimentada com matérias-primas, que afundam no forno de cuba sob influência da força de gravidade, sendo que uma parte das matérias-primas é fundida e/ou pelo menos parcialmente reduzida sob a ação da atmosfera predominante dentro do forno de cuba, e no qual em uma região inferior do forno de cuba é introduzido um gás de tratamento que influencia ao menos parcialmente a atmosfera predominante dentro do forno de cuba, sendo que a introdução do gás de tratamento é modulada dinamicamente dentro de um intervalo de tempo de 40 s quanto à pressão e/ou à corrente volumétrica, e forno de cuba que pode ser operado por um processo desse tipo, fazendo com que se obtenha uma melhor passagem de gás pelo forno de cuba.
