Abstract
FIADA DE CHAPAS Uma fiada de chapas aperfeiçoada para estruturas que estão sujeitas a vibrações e movimentos induzidos por redemoinhos devido a fluxo de fluido em torno da estrutura. Uma modalidade inclui uma forma aerodinâmica na borda da fiada de chapas. A forma aerodinâmica pode ser adicionada às fiadas de chapas existentes ou pode ser formada ao mesmo tempo da fiada de chapas para fiadas de chapas projetadas. A forma aerodinâmica reduz vibrações e movimentos induzidos por redemoinhos da estrutura à qual a fiada de chapas é conectada. Uma outra modalidade da invenção fornece um suporte resistente à tensão conectado à fiada de chapas e estrutura. O suporte fornece um caminho de carga diferente ao longo da fiada de chapas do que a técnica anterior para carregar a carga de pressão a partir da pressão de fluido agindo normal à superfície da fiada de chapas.
