Abstract

SISTEMA DE COMPARTILHAMENTO DE ARQUIVO DE PAR A PAR E MéTODO USANDO SEGMENTOS DE DADOS DESCARREGáVEIS. A presente invenção refere-se a um sistema de compartilhamento de arquivo de par a par e a um método que são providos, os quais permitem que pares em um sistema de rede de P2P descarreguem segmentos de um arquivo grande em uma ordem não-determinada, armazenem-nos em um banco de dados e tornem aqueles segmentos disponíveis para outros pares no sistema de rede de P2P. Dada a possibilidade de apenas uns poucos pares no sistema de rede de P2P poderem ter uma cópia completa do arquivo em qualquer dado tempo, cada um dos potencialmente muito pares tendo um subconjunto diferente de segmentos a partir do arquivo total pode imediatamente tomar disponíveis os segmentos para os outros pares. Dado um número suficiente de pares, e uma quantidade razoável, é altamente provável que uma cópia completa do arquivo exista e seja distribuída por todo o sistema de rede de P2P, mesmo se o provedor original se desconectar do sistema de rede de P2P ou por alguma outra razão se tornar indisponível.
