Abstract

MéTODO E APARELHO PARA EXAMINAR UMA CéDULA BANCáRIA, lidador de cédula bancária que toma medições ópticas tanto de reflexão como de transmissão em diferentes comprimentos de onda. Um emissor e um sensor num dos lados da trajetória da cédula bancária são usados para fazer uma medição de calibração utilizando luz refletida de uma janela no outro lado da trajetória, recobrindo outro dispositivo óptico. Cada medição é normalizada à base de múltiplas medições de diferentes comprimentos de onda, distribuídas por uma área substancial, tal como ao longo da linha de exploração relevante, preferivelmente utilizando um valor que representa a dispersão das medições.
