Abstract
CATETER DE REFERêNCIA PARA CALIBRAGEM DE IMPEDáNCIA. A presente invenção refere-se a um método de percepção de posição inclui a colocação em uma posição conhecida dentro do como de um indivíduo de uma sonda de referência incluindo pelo menos um eletrodo de referência. As correntes elétricas são passadas através do como entre o eletrodo de referência e os eletrodos de superfície de corpo. As características das correntes elétricas são medidas e são utilizadas para gerar uma aproximação da posição conhecida da sonda de referência. Um fator de correção é determinado com base em uma relação entre a aproximação e a posição conhecida. Uma sonda alvo incluindo pelo menos um eletrodo alvo é colocada dentro do como do indivíduo e segundas correntes elétricas são passadas através do como entre o eletrodo alvo e os eletrodos de superfície de corpo. As características das segundas correntes elétricas são medidas e utilizadas para gerar uma posição calculada da sonda alvo. O fator de correção é aplicado para corrigir a posição calculada.
