Abstract
PRODUÇçO E PURIFICAÇçO DE BIOGÁS UTILIZANDO BIOMASSA DE MICROALGAS E/OU CIANOBACTÉRIAS. Tem por objetivo a produção de biogás a partir da digestão anaeróbia de biomassa de microalgas e/ou cianobactérias de qualquer origem e a posterior purificação do biogás produzido através de sua injeção em cultivos de microalgas e/ou cianobactérias, onde ocorrerá a remoção de CO~ 2~ (gás carbônico) e outros gases contaminantes do biogás, gerando biogás purificado, O CO~ 2~ é utilizado como fonte de carbono para o crescimento da microalga e/ou cianobactéria que apresenta potencial para ser usada na alimentação humana e/ou animal e/ou para a extração de compostos celulares purificados ou não e/ou para uso como biocombustivel após processamento ou não. Entre estas aplicações a biomassa pode, inclusive, ser utilizada como substrato na produção do biogás como descrito anteriormente.
