Abstract

RASTREAMENTO DE POSIçãO IMUNE à DISTORçãO UTILIZANDO MEDIçõES REDUNDANTES. A presente invenção refere-se a um método para o rastreamento de uma posição de um objeto que inclui a utilização de um sensor de campo associado com o objeto para medir as intensidades de campo dos campos magnéticos gerados por dois ou mais geradores de campo, onde uma medição de pelo menos uma das intensidades de campo é sujeita a uma distorção. As coordenadas de localização de rotação invariável do objeto são calculadas em resposta às intensidades de campo medidas. As coordenadas de localização corrigidas do objeto são determinadas pela aplicação às coordenadas de localização de rotação invariável de uma função de correção de coordenada de modo a ajustar uma contribuição relativa de cada uma das intensidades de campo medidas às coordenadas de localização corrigidas em resposta à distorção nas intensidades de campo medidas.
