Abstract

LENTES INTRAOCULARES DIFRATIVAS TRUNCADAS - Em um aspecto, a presente invenção provê um método de projeto de uma lente oftálmica difrativa (por exemplo, uma lente intraocular (IOL)) que inclui prover uma ótica tendo uma superfície refrativa anterior e uma superfície refrativa posterior, onde a ótica provê um alcance de foco de longe (por exemplo, em uma faixa de cerca de 18 a cerca de 26 dioptrias (D)). Uma estrutura difrativa truncada pode ser disposta em pelo menos uma das superfícies para gerar um alcance de adição de foco de perto (por exemplo, em uma faixa de cerca de 3 D a cerca de 4 D).
