Abstract

"NANOCOMPóSITOS IONÈMEROS DE BORRACHA BUTìLICA". A presente invenção refere-se a nanocompósitos e a processos para a obtenção de nanocompósitos que compreende ionómeros de borracha butílica que têm pelo menos 3,5% em mol de unidades de repetição derivadas de um monómero de multiolefina, tal como isopreno. Mais particularmente, a invenção refere-se a nanocompósitos de ionómero de borracha butílica que compreende cargas de alta razão de aspecto. Em um aspecto preferido da invenção, os nanocompósitos compreendem ionómeros que são gerados in situ durante a formação do nanocompósito, levando à intercalação do ionómero com o nanocompósito. Os nanocompósitos de acordo com a presente invenção exibem melhor impermeabilidade e melhores propriedades de tração comparadas com os nanocompósitos da técnica anterior que usa borracha butílica bromada convencional.
