Abstract

"TRANSPORTE E MéTODO DE TINTA SóLIDA DE IMPRESSORA". A presente invenção refere-se a um sistema de distribuição de tinta sólida para uso com um bastão de tinta para uso em impressoras. O bastão possui uma periferia externa incluindo superfícies opostas do bastão. O sistema de distribuição de tinta sólida distribui o bastão para uma unidade de derretimento para derreter o bastão de modo que a tinta possa ser transferida para um meio para formar uma imagem no meio. O sistema de distribuição inclui uma guia para guiar o bastão em um caminho prescrito. A guia define uma posição de carregamento para permitir que o bastão seja colocado na guia e uma posição de distribuição adjacente à unidade de derretimento. A guia na posição de carregamento define restrições para posicionar o bastão. Uma parte das restrições, incluindo uma abertura de inserção formatada, é adaptada para cooperação com as superfícies apostas da periferia externa do bastão.
