Abstract

PROCESSO DE OBTENçãO DE NANOCOMPóSITO SóLIDO. A presente invenção se refere ao processo de preparação de nanocompósitos sólidos, formados por látices elastoméricos ou poliméricos e compostos lamelares, sintéticos ou naturais, intercalados ou esfoliados. A novidade apresentada neste processo de invenção é a obtenção de nanocompósitos sólidos através da coagulação de dispersões de látex e argila em agentes coagulantes, por meio térmico ou mecânico, obtendo-se nanocompósitos de borracha/argila sólidos, com alto grau de intercalação e/ou esfoliação da argila. O nanocompósito sólido produzido por este processo de invenção e prescindindo de vulcanização tem propriedades mecânicas muito superiores ás de muitos polímeros ou elastómeros convencionais, bem como excelentes propriedades de resistência a óleos e solventes, o que torna sua aplicação em setores industriais como automobilístico, na fabricação de pneus, vedações dinâmicas e estáticas, gachetas, selantes, mangueiras, correias, entre outras possiveis aplicações. A presente invenção se refere ainda aos artigos produzidos com os referidos nanocompósitos sólidos.
