Abstract

APARELHO E MÉTODO PARA ADAPTAR UM VEÍCULO SUBAQUÁTICO. São descritos aparelhos e métodos para a adaptação de um veículo subaquático, tal como um ROV, e, em particular, um ROV para trabalho de construção ou manutenção hidraulicamente acionado. Em uma modalidade, o veículo é fornecido com um módulo ou módulos que fornecem dispositivos de propulsão adicionais que têm reduzido o ruído em alta velocidade em comparação ao dispositivo de propulsão principal do veículo. O módulo ou módulos também opcionalmente fornecem maior performance e resistência diminuída. Um ROV adaptado de tal forma é, portanto, adequado para trabalho de levantamento em alta velocidade. Em uma outra modalidade, um ROV hidráulico é adaptado para habilitá-lo a ser capaz de diretamente acionar ferramentas eletricamente acionadas.
