Abstract

The projectile (1) has a cylindrical body (10) terminated at its front by an ogive shaped nose (20). A removable cylindrical sleeve (30) allows assembly of a guiding system e.g. laser guiding equipment, at the front of the body, and is fixed on a cylindrical connection part (25) of the nose, where the guiding system conforms to OTAN standard. The connection part carries an outer thread co-operating with an inner thread formed in a rear part (31) of the sleeve. The sleeve is made of low-resilience material e.g. brittle steel, and the nose is made of rigid material e.g. steel.
