Abstract

COMPOSIçãO POLIMéRICA, E, MéTODO PARA AUMENTAR A VISCOSIDADE DE UM SISTEMA POLIMéRICO AQUOSO. Uma composição e método, por meio dos quais o mesmo grupo que seja ligado ou esteja dentro da estrutura de um espessante associativo, seja reversivelmente transformado entre ser hidrofilico e hidrofóbico por natureza. Quando o grupo que é ligado ou esteja dentro da estrutura é tomado hidrofihico, o espessante aquoso é escoável e facilmente incorporado nas composições poliméricas aquosas. Quando este grupo é tomado hidrofóbico, o espessante realiza sua função de espessamento eficientemente. A mudança é facilmente realizada pelo ajuste do pH da composição espessante associativa e da composição polimérica aquosa que esteja sendo espessada.
