Abstract

MOTOR DE COMBUSTçO INTERNA, SISTEMA DE REGENERAÇçODE FILTRO DE PARTICULADOS, E, MÉTODO DE REGENERAR UM FILTRO DE PARTICULADOS. Um sistema de regeneração de filtro de particulados para um motor de combustão interna inclui uma pluralidade de cilindros de combustão, um coletor de entrada e um coletor de exaustão O sistema de regeneração de filtro de particulados inclui um filtro de particulados adaptado para comunicação com o coletor de exaustão, um aquecedor de chama adaptado para comunicação com o coletor de entrada, e um indicador de temperatura para prover uma indicação de uma temperatura associada ao coletor de exaustão. Um controlador é acoplado ao indicador de temperatura e ao aquecedor de chama. O controlador atua no aquecedor de chama dependendo de um indicador de regeneração de filtro de particulados e de um sinal do indicador de temperatura indicando uma temperatura menor do que, aproximadamente, 300°C.
