Abstract
PROCESSO DE FABRICAÇçO DE NANOTUBOS DE CARBONO A PARTIR DE MATÉRIAS-PRIMAS RENOVÁVEIS. A presente invenção tem por objeto um processo de fabricação de nanotubos de carbono compreendendo as seguintes etapas: a) a síntese de álcool (álcoois) por fermentação de pelo menos uma matéria vegetal e eventualmente a purificação do produto obtido; b) a desidratação do álcool (álcoois) obtido(s) em (a) para produzir, em um primeiro reator, uma mistura de alceno(s) e de água e eventualmente a purificação do produto obtido; c) a introdução, notadamente a colocação em leito fluidizado, em um segundo reator, de um catalisador pulverulento a uma temperatura que vai de 450 a 850°C, esse catalisador compreendendo pelo menos um metal catalítico suportado por um substrato sólido inerte, os grãos de catalisador que tem um d50 inferior a 300 <109>m; d) a colocação em contato do alceno produzido em (b) com o catalisador pulverulento, eventualmente em leito fluidizada, da etapa (c) para formar na superfície desse catalisador os nanotubos de carbono e hidrogênio por decomposição catalítica desse alceno; e) a recuperação dos nanotubos de carbono produzidas em (d). A invenção se refere também aos nanotubos capazes de serem obtidos segundo o processo pré-citado, que podem ser vantajosamente utilizados em todos os campos de aplicação dos nanotubos de carbono conhecidos.
