Abstract

MéTODO E APARELHO PARA CONECTAR UM TUBO CONECTOR A UMA TUBULAçãO TENDO UM FURO PASSANTE. Esta invenção se refere a um método para conectar um tubo conector a uma tubulação tendo um furo passante, compreendendo as seguintes etapas: (a) pré-montagem do tubo conector em um suporte; (b) acoplar uma estrutura à tubulação em ou em direção a uma extremidade da mesma tal que o local de pelo menos uma parte da estrutura é conhecido com referência ao furo passante e à extremidade da tubulação; (c) engatar o suporte com a porção da estrutura; (d) alinhar substancialmente o tubo conector com a extremidade da tubulação; e (e) conectar o tubo conector à extremidade da tubulação. A invenção também se refere um aparelho para conectar um tubo conector a uma tubulação tendo um furo passante, compreendendo um suporte para acomodar o tubo conector; um dispositivo guia para acoplar à tubulação em uma a localização conhecida relativa ao furo passante; uma ferramenta de corte disposta para ser acoplada de forma que pode ser liberada ao dispositivo guia; em que o suporte e o dispositivo guia são, cada um, provido com um dispositivo de posicionamento para interconexão do suporte e o dispositivo guia para assim orientar o tubo conector em uma posição conhecida relativa ao furo passante e à extremidade da tubulação; e um atuador para facilitar conexão do tubo conector e a tubulação.
