Abstract

DISPOSITIVO DE REDUçãO DE ARRASTE PARA UM VEìCULO A MOTOR E VEìCULO A MOTOR. Um dispositivo de redução de arraste para um veículo a motor é apresentado que inclui um membro de chapa substancialmente plano de preferência giravelmente conectado com um conjunto de portinhola traseiro. O conjunto de portinhola traseiro tem pelo menos um, porém de preferência dois painéis definindo uma cavidade. O membro de chapa pode ser seletivamente posicionado em uma primeira posição e uma segunda, terceira ou quarta posição. Quando na primeira posição, o membro de chapa está no interior da cavidade. Na segunda posição, o membro de chapa é substancialmente vertical, e se estendendo parcialmente no exterior da cavidade. Na terceira posição, o membro de chapa se estendendo para frente, de preferência em uma orientação horizontal no exterior da cavidade. Quando na quarta posição, o membro de chapa está se estendendo para trás, de preferência em uma orientação horizontal no exterior da cavidade. O membro de chapa é de extensão suficiente quando na segunda, terceira e quarta posições para desse modo reduzir o coeficiente de arraste e ascensão sobre o veículo.
