Abstract

PROCESSO PARA DETERMINAçãO DE COMPOSIçãO DE COMBUSTìVEL. A presente invenção refere-se a um processo para determinação da composição de uma mistura de combustíveis a partir de um primeiro combustível e um segundo combustível para operação de um motor de combustão interna, no qual o primeiro e o segundo combustiveis apresentam índices diferentes de octanagem e no qual o motor de combustão interna apresenta, pelo menos, um sensor de detonação e uma regulagem de detonação. De acordo com a invenção está previsto que a composição de mistura de combustíveis é determinada por meio de um sinal de saída do sensor de detonação. O sensor de detonação, em muitos casos, já está previsto no motor de combustão interna, de modo que não representa qualquer despesa adicional. Visto que o índice de octanagem de uma mistura de combustíveis é determinado pela proporção de mistura dos combustíveis participantes de índices diferenciados de octanagem, em resposta ao sinal a partir do sensor de detonação, sob condições normais de operação, pode ser deduzida a composição da mistura de combustíveis.
