Abstract
APARELHO EXIBIDOR DE VìDEO. A presente invenção refere-se a um aparelho exibidor de vídeo que é provido, o qual pode mudar a taxa de modulação de luz de uma fonte de iluminação traseira de acordo com as mudanças em uma quantidade indicativa de um sinal de vídeo de entrada com base em uma diferença entre os tempos requeridos para a adaptação a luz e adaptação ao escuro. Um aparelho exibidor de vídeo inclui um painel de cristal líquido que exibe um sinal de vídeo de entrada, uma fonte de iluminação traseira que aplica luz ao painel de cristal líquido, uma parte de detecção de APL que detecta APL do sinal de vídeo de entrada e um microcomputador de controle que controla de modo variável uma quantidade de mudança da luminância de emissão da fonte de iluminação traseira para cada tempo predeterminado com base no APL detectado. O microcomputador de controle realiza o controle de tal modo que a quantidade de mudança para APL do sinal de vídeo de entrada que muda para uma quantidade maior torna-se maior do que a quantidade de mudança para o APL do sinal de vídeo de entrada que muda para uma quantidade inferior.
