Abstract
DISPOSITIVO DE SENSOR DE PROFUNDIDADE DE BANDA DE RODAGEM E MéTODO PARA MEDIçãO DA MESMA. Um sistema de medição de profundidade de banda de rodagem para medição de uma profundidade de uma banda de rodagem fornecia para um pneumático em um veículo. O sistema inclui uma fonte de energia para emissão de um sinal sem fio a ser transmitido para o pneumático; um sensor para detecção de um sinal sem fio de retorno emitido a partir do pneumático para ser transmitido em resposta ao sinal sem fio a partir da fonte de energia; e um alojamento sobre o qual o pneumático deve rolar enquanto fixado ao veículo, o dito alojamento separando o sensor do pneumático enquanto a profundidade da banda de rodagem está sendo medida. Uma unidade de controle é acoplada de forma operacional ao sensor para determinar a profundidade da banda de rodagem como uma função de pelo menos o sinal sem fio de retorno detectado pelo sensor.
