Abstract

INJEçãO EM FORNALHA DE VAPOR EM PLANTA DE CARVãO. Um sistema e método para resfriamento rápido e despressurização de um arranjo aquecedor no evento de uma perda de energia de uma usina, também conhecida como uma condição de biecaute em uma usina (do inglês, black plant). Um sistema de descarga de vapor injeta vapor do circuito vapor/água na fornalha, assim tanto resfriando componentes do arranjo aquecedor como reduzindo a pressão no circuito vapor/água. Isso reduz ou elimina o custo adicional associado com o fornecimento de capacidade extra em um tambor de vapor e/ou uma bomba de água aquecedora independentemente gerada. O sistema e método é particularmente útil para o resfriamento rápido dos cilindros em U de um aquecedor de leito fluido circulante (CFB) durante uma condição de blecaute em uma usina. No pedido de patente para arranjos aquecedores com um sistema de redução seletiva não-catalítica (SNCR) empregando vapor como um carreador para um agente redutor de NOx, o sistema de descarga de vapor vantajosamente usa os bocais de descarga de sistema SNCR para injetar o vapor na fornalha.
