Abstract

The present invention relates to a switching mechanism (1) of a fault current protection device (30) for switching a circuit breaker which is arranged on a carrier plate (2), having a rotatably mounted handle (3), a bracket (4) which is coupled to the handle (3), wherein a first end (5) of the bracket (4) is arranged on the handle (3) outside the rotation axis of the handle (3), and a catch (7) which is connected in an articulated manner to the second end (6) of the bracket (4) and has a groove (8) for guiding a pin (10) of a rotatably mounted switching lever (9) of the switching mechanism (1), having a rotatably mounted half-shaft (11) with a catching edge (12), wherein the catching edge (12) is designed to grasp an end (13) of the catch (7), having a first spring element (14) which is connected to the catch (7) and/or the switching lever (9) and can be loaded in a spring-elastic manner when the catch (7) and/or the switching lever (9) is moved. The invention also relates to a fault current protection device having a switching mechanism of this type, and to a system with a fault current protection device, having a switching mechanism of this type, and a circuit breaker.
