A invenção provê um método para detecção de doenças neoplásticas ou neurológicas compreendendo a exposição da pele ou das unhas à difração por raio-X e detectando alterações na ultra-estrutura da pele ou das unhas, a ainda prover um instrumento para ser usado no método de detecção.
