Abstract

PLANTA COM MAIOR RENDIMENTO DE SEMENTES E MéTODO PARA AUMENTAR PELO MENOS O NúMERO DE FLORES DE UMA PLANTA OU O NúMERO DE SEMENTES DA PLANTA. Foi descoberto que uma planta transformada na qual foi introduzido o gene de y-glutamilcisteína sintetase apresenta um número maior de flores ou um número maior de sementes em comparação a uma planta de origem natural e, portanto, apresenta maior rendimento de sementes. Com base nessa descoberta, a presente invenção elucida a função de um produto gênico de ã-glutamilcisteína sintetase derivado de planta e fornece uma técnica para produzir uma planta que possui maior rendimento de sementes.
