Abstract

DISCO ÓTICO E MÉTODO DE GRAVAÇÃO/REPRODUÇÃO DE DISCO ÓTICO. A presente invenção refere-se a um grande padrão para uma área de começo o qual permite que uma reprodução de dados seja realizada de forma estável, mesmo quando a densidade de gravação de um disco ótico for aumentada. Um disco ótico de acordo com a presente invenção inclui trilhas, cada uma das quais dividida em uma pluralidade de blocos de gravação. Cada um da pluralidade de blocos inclui uma área de começo e uma área de dados. Na área de começo, um padrão de bit de começo prescrito é gravável; e na área de dados, padrões de bit tendo uma pluralidade de comprimentos de bit obtidos pela modulação de dados como um alvo de gravação de acordo com uma regra de modulação prescrita são graváveis. Neste disco ótico, pelo menos uma das frequências espaciais correspondentes aos padrões de bit tendo a pluralidade de comprimentos de bit é mais alta do que uma frequência de corte. O padrão de bit de começo gravável na área de começo inclui os padrões de bit tendo a pluralidade de comprimentos de bit, a partir dos quais o padrão de bit correspondente à frequência mais alta do que a frequência de corte de OTF foi excluído.
