Abstract

MéTODOS DE AUMENTAR O CRESCIMENTO DE PLANTAS. Esta invenção refere-se a métodos de aumentar o crescimento e/ou biomassa de plantas suprimindo-se parcialmente a expressão de um polipeptídeo SHORT-ROOT (SHR), tal como AtSHR ou PtSHR1. A manipulação da expressão de SHORT-ROOT pode ser útil, por exemplo, em acelerar o crescimento e aumentar a produção de biomassa nas plantas transgênicas.
