Abstract
CABO SÍSMICO ÓTICO E MÓDULO DE CABO SÍSMICO ÓTICO. É descrito um cabo sísmico ótico (2), compreendendo um número de unidades de sensor (5) espaçadas ao longo do comprimento do cabo, e um número de unidades de conexão (4) espaçadas ao longo do comprimento do cabo, o cabo adicionalmente compreendendo um número de primeiras fibras óticas, estendendo-se, de forma substancialmente contínua ao longo do cabo, de uma unidade de conexão à próxima, e um número de segundas fibras óticas, cada uma das quais estendendo-se ao longo do cabo entre unidades de conexão adjacentes, e em que, em cada unidade de conexão, pelo menos uma primeira fibra ótica está conectada a uma segunda fibra ótica, e em que, nas unidades de sensor, sensores estão conectados às ditas segundas fibras óticas. Um segundo aspecto da invenção disponibiliza um módulo de cabo sísmico ótico (3), compreendendo um número de primeiras fibras óticas, estendendo-se de forma substancialmente contínua de uma extremidade do módulo de cabo à outra, e um número de segundas fibras óticas, as quais se estendem, cada uma, parcialmente para longe ao longo do módulo de cabo, o módulo de cabo sísmico compreendendo em uma extremidade uma unidade de conexão, na qual pelo menos uma primeira fibra ótica é conectada a uma segunda fibra ótica, e um número de unidades de sensor, nas quais sensores estão conectados a segundas fibras óticas.
