Abstract
PROCESSO DE EXTRUSÃO PARA ENXERTAR BORRACHA. A invenção se refere a um processo para produzir uma borracha enxertada, compreendendo: a) fornecer uma borracha de etileno propileno com peso de peso molecular médio (Pm) de pelo menos 80 Kg/mol em um reator de extrusão contínua pela alimentação da borracha em uma unidade de dosagem de placa/fundição e transporte da borracha para o reator de extrusão contínua por uma bomba de material fundido; b) secar a borracha no reator de extrusão contínua até conteúdo de umidade entre cerca de 0,2 e cerca de 0,5% em peso; c) fomecer a borracha seca a uma primeira região de injeção do reator de extrusão contínua, em uma temperatura entre 190 e 250 °C, d) na primeira região de injeção, fornecer sucessivamente uma primeira quantidade de anidrido maleico e um primeiro iniciador de radical livre à borracha seca; e) reagir anidrido maileico com a borracha em uma primeira região reacional do reator de extrusão contínua para produzir borracha enxertada; f) em uma segunda região de injeção, fornecer com sucesso uma segunda quantidade de anidrido maleico e um segundo iniciador de radical livre, o primeiro e o segundo iniciador de radical livre sendo um peróxido orgânico com meia-vida (t1/2) de mais de 1 segundo se medido em monoclorobenzeno a 220 ºC. g) aplicar cisalhamento à borracha enxertada em uma segunda região de reação do reator de extrusão contínua, o cisalhamento suficiente para reduzir o peso do peso molecular médio (Pm) da borracha enxertada por um fator de pelo menos 2.
