Abstract
método e aparelho usando portadoras de guarda para canais extras para auxiliar na minimização de interferência, uma faixa de largura de banda pode ter proteções em qualquer um dos lados para reduzir dispersão para faixas de largura de banda, vizinhas. contudo, em situações de potência relativamente baixa o risco de dispersão é reduzido. portanto, as larguras de banda de guarda podem ser usadas para abrir novos canais a partir dos quais a informação pode ser transmitida. assim, pode haver uma maior quantidade de largura de banda usada enquanto ainda retendo aspectos de guarda, tal como baixa interferência para as bandas vizinhas. utilizar a largura de banda de guarda para transmitir novos canais facilita a compatibilidade retroativa uma vez que os dispositivos legados comumente não monitoram a largura de banda de guarda. essas técnicas também podem ser usadas em estações base de alta potência mediante anúncio de uma guarda maior do que o necessário para dispositivos legados e utilizar a largura de banda de guarda adicionalmente criada para transmitir novos canais.
