Abstract

CONSERVAÇÃO DE MATERIAL VEGETAL. Esta invenção está relacionada a um método para a conservação e/ ou tingimento de material vegetal, incluindo flores de corte. De acordo com a invenção, o material vegetal tratado tem a cor e a textura do material vegetal fresco e é substancialmente livre de enrugamento ou de distorção. O método pode incluir cinco etapas, incluindo uma primeira etapa de praticamente eliminar a cobertura cerosa protetora existente nas flores e outros materiais vegetais sem prejudicar a resistência do material vegetal, uma segunda etapa que compreende um agente de clareamento oxidante leve para remover o excesso de cores do material vegetal; uma terceira etapa que compreende um alvejante redutor leve para neutralizar qualquer agente de clareamento oxidante residual e estabilizar a cor; uma quarta etapa que compreende a simultânea conservação e tingimento do material vegetal; e uma quinta e última etapa que inclui a lavagem e secagem do material conservado e tingido. Isto pode ser seguido por uma segunda etapa de conservação e tingimento e uma lavagem e secagem. O produto pode ser reparafinizado e armazenado.
