Abstract

COLUNA DE DIREÇÃO AJUSTÁVEL PARA VEÍCULOS AUTOMOTORES. A presente invenção refere-se a uma coluna de direção ajustável (1) para um veículo automotor que compreende um conjunto de suporte (2) para ser fixado sobre o chassi de um veículo, um corpo tubular (4) montado de forma deslizante no conjunto de suporte (2), meios de ajuste e travamento capazes de comutar de um estado de ajuste da posição do corpo tubular (4) no conjunto de suporte (2), para um estado de imobilização do corpo tubular (4) em uma posição ajustada desejada no conjunto de suporte (2), um elemento para absorção de energia plasticamente deformável (50) que colabora com um membro de deformação (40) fixado ao corpo tubular (4) de forma que o mesmo seja submetido à deformação plástica conforme o corpo tubular (4) é retraído dentro do conjunto de suporte (2) que segue um impacto transmitido ao corpo tubular (4) quando os meios de ajuste e travamento estão em um estado de imobilização, e um mecanismo de roquete (5) para fixar o elemento plasticamente deformável ao conjunto de suporte (2) durante a deformação plástica do elemento plasticamente deformável.
