método para detectar a queda de um o objeto, aparelho para detectar a queda de uma objeto e produto de programa de computador. a invenção refere-se a um método e a um aparelho para a detecção de quedas. de acordo com a invenção, o método para detectar a queda de um objeto compreende as etapas de obtenção (501) de uma pluralidade de acelerações que variam com o tempo associadas com um movimento do dito objeto; de computações (502) de uma pluralidade de velocidade e deslocamento respectivos na direção da gravidade, com base na pluralidade de acelerações que variam com o tempo; de determinação (503) do tempo de avanço e do tempo de retorno do movimento; com base na pluralidade de acelerações velocidades e deslocamentos, sendo que o tempo de avanço é igual a um intervalo de tempo de um ponto original do movimento a um ponto extremo do movimento, e o tempo de retorno é igual a um intervalo de tempo do ponto extremo do movimento a um ponto final do movimento; e de determinação (504) de queda do dito objeto, se ela ocorrer, com base em se um valor de pico das velocidades é maior do que um valor limite predefinido e se o tempo de avanço é mais longo do que o tempo de retorno.
